Counseling for teens and the people who care about them
Adolescence can bring real pressure—from school, friendships, family, and the questions a teen is carrying inside. Luke offers a steady, respectful space for teens to talk honestly, build practical tools, and feel understood.

Who this is for
Luke works with teens who are navigating stress, emotions, relationships, attention challenges, and the everyday pressures that can feel heavier during adolescence. Counseling begins with curiosity, respect, and attention to each teen’s strengths—not assumptions about who they are or what they need.
Families do not have to wait until a concern becomes a crisis to ask for support. A consultation can help clarify whether individual counseling, family involvement, or another next step makes sense.
Common reasons families reach out
The concerns that bring a teen or family to counseling are personal. Luke often helps teens and caregivers make sense of experiences such as:
Anxiety, worry, and stress
School pressure, motivation, or changes in grades
Friendships, peer pressure, and feeling left out
Big emotions, irritability, or feeling overwhelmed
ADHD-related challenges and difficulty focusing
Family conflict, communication, or life transitions
This page provides general information, not a diagnosis. If you are unsure whether counseling is the right fit, a consultation can help you talk through the next step.
What counseling can look like
01
A free 15-minute consultation gives a parent or caregiver a chance to share what has been hard, ask questions, and decide whether Luke’s approach feels like a good fit.
02
Early sessions focus on connection and on understanding what matters to the teen. There is no expectation that they need to have the right words or every answer on the first day.
03
Counseling may include conversation, practical coping skills, values-based reflection, and evidence-based strategies that can be carried into school, relationships, and home life.
Teens need an age-appropriate space where they can speak openly. Luke explains confidentiality and parent communication in clear, respectful language so everyone understands what support will look like and how safety concerns are handled.
Parents and caregivers remain important. Their perspective, questions, and support at home can be part of the process, while each teen is also given meaningful space to be heard.
